Terms of Use

242Hub Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Effective: 1 May 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the 242Hub platform, operated by 242Hub ("242Hub", "we", "our", or "us"). By registering for or using 242Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

These Terms should be read together with the 242Hub Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct, which are incorporated by reference.

1. The Platform

242Hub is a professional and business network platform that enables members to:

Build and maintain professional and business profiles;

Discover and connect with other professionals and business owners within the network;

Signal professional availability, mentoring interest, and business opportunities;

Search a curated directory of members and businesses.

Access to the platform's features is subject to these Terms and to payment of the applicable membership fee or subscription.

2. Eligibility & Registration

2.1 Eligibility — You may register for 242Hub if you are an individual professional who is at least 18 years of age, capable of entering into a binding legal agreement, and willing to accept and abide by the Code of Conduct. 242Hub is open to professionals regardless of whether they are affiliated with ICGC (International Central Gospel Church). Membership of ICGC is not a requirement.

2.2 Account — You must register a personal account to access the platform. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete registration information; keeping your account credentials secure; all activity that occurs under your account; and notifying 242Hub promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. You may not share your account with or transfer it to any other person. You may hold only one account.

2.3 Account Status — Your account will be in one of the following statuses: Pending (registration complete but email not yet verified or payment not yet received); Active (full platform access); Inactive (access restricted by member or administrative action); or Suspended (access revoked pending investigation or following a Code of Conduct breach).

3. Membership Fees & Subscriptions

3.1 Membership Fee (Year 1) — A one-time flat membership fee is payable at the end of your onboarding process. This fee grants full access to the platform for the initial membership period. The amount of the membership fee is as displayed on the platform at the time of payment.

3.2 Annual Subscription (Year 2 onwards) — From the second year of membership, access to the platform is subject to payment of an annual subscription fee. Three tiers are available — Standard, Classic, and Premium — at the rates published on the platform. The tier you select during onboarding will apply to your Year 2 renewal.

3.3 Payment Processing — All payments are processed through Paystack, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. 242Hub does not store your payment card details.

3.4 Non-Refundable — Membership fees and subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law, or where 242Hub has terminated your access in error.

3.5 Failed Payments — If a payment fails, your access to the platform may be restricted. You will be notified by email and given a reasonable opportunity to complete payment before your account status changes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and the Code of Conduct. You must not use the platform in any way that:

Violates any applicable law or regulation;

Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;

Is fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive;

Transmits spam, unsolicited messages, or commercial content without consent;

Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or any other user's account;

Interferes with or disrupts the platform's infrastructure, servers, or networks;

Uses automated tools to access or extract content from the platform without written authorisation.

5. Member Content

5.1 Your Content — You retain ownership of any content you submit to your profile or otherwise contribute to the platform ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant 242Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use Your Content within the platform for the purposes of operating the service.

5.2 Accuracy — You represent and warrant that Your Content is accurate, not misleading, and does not infringe any third-party rights. You are solely responsible for Your Content.

5.3 Removal — 242Hub reserves the right to remove any content that, in its reasonable opinion, breaches these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or applicable law. We will notify you where practicable before removal, unless immediate action is required.

6. Intellectual Property

The 242Hub platform, including its name, branding, design, software, and content produced by 242Hub, is the intellectual property of 242Hub. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right to use 242Hub's intellectual property except as needed to use the platform in the ordinary way.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform's content, design, or code without prior written consent from 242Hub.

7. Directory & Visibility

Your profile may appear in the 242Hub member directory, subject to your directory opt-in setting and field-level visibility preferences. You understand that:

Other members can view the fields you have set as visible;

If you opt out of the directory, your profile will not appear in directory searches;

Visibility settings apply to other members only — 242Hub administrators may view all profile data for platform management purposes.

You can update your visibility settings at any time from your account.

8. Businesses Listed on the Platform

242Hub does not verify or endorse any business, product, or service listed by a member. Any commercial engagement between members is entirely at the members' own risk. 242Hub accepts no liability for disputes arising from transactions or relationships formed through the platform.

9. Suspension & Termination

9.1 By You — You may request deletion of your account at any time through the account settings. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from the directory. Some information may be retained for the period required by law or for platform integrity purposes.

9.2 By 242Hub — 242Hub may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or the Code of Conduct; you fail to make payment when due; we are required to do so by law; or we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to the security or integrity of the platform.

Where suspension or termination is not due to your breach, a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription fees may be issued at 242Hub's discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

242Hub provides the platform on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied;

242Hub does not warrant that the platform will be available at all times, error-free, or secure;

242Hub will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform;

242Hub's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will not exceed the total membership or subscription fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 242Hub and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform; Your Content; your breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct; or your breach of any applicable law.

12. Third-Party Services

The platform may integrate with or link to third-party services (including Paystack for payments). 242Hub is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

242Hub may seek to resolve disputes informally in the first instance and encourages members to raise concerns directly before initiating formal proceedings.

14. Changes to These Terms

242Hub may revise these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes, including by email or by notice within the platform. Your continued use of the platform following the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the platform and may request account deletion.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

16. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact 242Hub through the platform or at the contact address published on the platform website.
